and the propulsion system is perfectly visible... together with your drawing, it looks perfectly doable.

Great progress, looking good.
Doing the underwater part is always hard, there are few pictures of ship's hulls, esp for modern ships.

some details missing on the aft structure, mast, deck just before the bridge and bow, and the bridge windows look a bit weird.... shouldn't the first one be a bit angled?
otherwise nice ;)

I'll do some more work on mast and windows.
But some of the details are missing for a purpose, not to make the ship look too dense with details and look like a big bulk of pixels.

yeah, but right now some stuff is just looking empty, IMO.
http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2011/ ... 41hg1t.png I would like to see it to this level, although that is of course not always possible :P

It's fairly easy to reach that level of detail on so much space, this ship is x2 larger then my sandown. And still got alot of empty space.
Not that hard at all.

it is mainly hard because of the references. but you say it is not hard? well, show me, fix it on your sandown then :P if you can show every detail that is near the size of an pixel or larger, as I have done on the holland, I will take of my hat for you ;)
