People generally start in the beginner's forum, so that is where this topic is moving to.

1) You need credits on your drawing, which is almost exclusively Colosseum's.
2) Your ship will be upside down in short order. On the plus side, turrets of that type sit on roller bearings and generally fall out of capsized ships, so it won't necessarily sink very fast.

No, I think it will sink rather quickly as it snaps in two parts from the weight of the gun. This is a good thing as it removes the need to move through the barbette to move forward to aft (and the reverse) of the gun (It looks like an Alaska turret, which means it's got 8 feet of clearance on the sides - total).

Stern might sink pretty rapidly. It might be a clean enough break that the bow and midsection would stay afloat for some time, perhaps long enough to get towed home to get a plausible stern fitted.

Thank you for ruining my drawings... my username is "Colosseum", not "colossus"... and just what is a "patrol destroyer"???

Then fix it before you show us anything else.

Your barbette is no less than 33 feet wide, on a ship with a 40 foot beam. It's going to break the keel of the ship no matter the number of guns in the turret.
