Nope, Strasbourg was scuttled by the Vichy French themselves after Germany's attempt to take over the Navy. Although the RN did attack the French Navy at Mers-el-Kabir, perhaps that's what you're thinking of?

I love these semi-frontal photos of the two last French battleship classes... they had by far the most beautiful conning tower structures.

Nice picture (oh, and I can sympathise about Descent, that game is far too good for it's own good, even though it does give some of my friends motion sickness) - is Yahagi under way? I'd kind of assumed that, being under attack (I assume those big white splodges are bombs going off), they'd be moving if only to effect evasive manoeuvres, but can't see much of a wake from her...

Hi Adam,

I'm actually not quite sure why she's making so little wake, but I'm guessing she's had to lower her speed to make tighter turns. There's a bit of a wake towards the bow, but since most of the bow is cut off in the photografy, it's kinda hard to see properly.

(Nice to see another player. Had my first run yesterday night. I think we were at it for around ten hours )

It looks like there's an oil-slick coming from the stern, so she may have been disabled.
