Almost finished, I returned to the SPS-48 as main search radar. Still using rails instead of VLS.
She will serve as a centerpice of small taskgroups sent to diffrent places around the world when carriers are needed elsewhere.

I'm not sure one funnel is going to cut it.

I also think that it could carry more than 2 Helos

Excellent :) Not least (and newbies please note) a good sized hull not crammed with weapons etc. that wouldn't fit into the internal spaces.

Great, thanks for the comments
- The new SPS-48 will be there soon, I didn't found the new USN parts sheet!!, Great
- hmm...with CODAG machinery, do you need more funnels?, I think this is quite large for a modern warship.
- I always try to do my designs as realistic as possible, and do both springsharp and some volume calculations before I fit weapons etc on them.
- Yes, there can be four Lynx sized helicopters in the hangar or two large (seaking/ SeaKnight, If they fit to the now smaller pad)

Compare it to the Ticondaroga. Granted they are COGAG and not CODAG, but you're going to need a similar sized, if not larger, engine room, so unless you want to use most of your internal space on exhaust ducts you'll need a second funnel.

I think one funnel could be placed just aft of the superstructure and the main funnel made smaller and the ABLs moved further aft.

The russian Slava/ Moscow do only have one funnel though steamturbine powered.
