Wait, I think I had a brain fart. the angle of attack should decrease along the length of the blade, I think.....

looks good IMHO... although these look like the old school props, most modern ships have ones like the one on the LCF... variable pitch props with blades which can fill the entire circle. (look at the images, the top on is the old school, the bottom one is the lcf) other then that they look as good or maybe even better then mine

Well, this is just a first try to see if I can make them. Next set will be more realistic.

Would the size of the hangar (red area) be realistic for my carrier? It's large enough to hold the whole intended air group with some room to spare.

I think this size will be perfect. it may be enlarged to the stern though.

I imagined that aft of the hangar there to be maintenance offices and a magazine for spare parts. Just like in normal plane hangars.

I added a Smart-L at first but it just looks too massive for this ship.

Weapons include a 120mm Naval railgun, 2 dual 30mm chaingun turrets, 3 GoldenEye laser CIWS systems, 96 vertical launc cells for NASAMSII+ SAM, SM-6ER SAM and Hammerhead ASM.
