Also, the prop is full of pixel haze

pixel haze? crap. Back to the ol' drawing board. Thanks for the assist on the lines, too.

Potentially a very nice drawing. You've rendered the ships name in anti aliasing - a keel hauling offence around here  Re the shading: yes, the lower hull is a mess, and the ships waterline needs to be made clear, as per other drawings. On the upper hull you have shading under a single black line to indicate an overhang? That is another offence - probably walking the plank ;) I would reverse the shading on the front of the bridge - lighten it to show the light from theat direction; and generally the shading looks bit too heavy pixel-wise; but yes, all easily rectified and still a lovely ship :)

PONGO???? :o

Watch it there, squid.

(Yeah, mech infantry officer for several years. Was in one of the first battalions to get the Bradley. Again, dating myself here. ;) Good part is that I now qualify for the "senior discount" in most stores. I guess thats good. Maybe just alright. Meh, it saves me money. )

Now, on to the topic at hand. I have cleared the denial stage, and have realized that as far as the underwater bits go.... I suck. So, if there is a willing hand, I would be more than happy to share the credits line with somebody who maybe could do the underwater hull up right before I start tearing my beard out in clumps out of frustration. And trust me, y'all don't want to see me without my soupcatcher. Hell, even my wife has forbidden me to shave it off.

For me to see, I think you're to hard with your self. Your underwater only need small improvement, and if you like, I will give it a try. But only without credits! That effort is to small to demand creditting ;)

Thanks, I appreciate it. :)

(Still willing to share credit though)

Well I think I beat Kim to the punch.

Do not credit, and you still need to fix the prop - take a look at the California and Spruance redraws to get a feel for a proper prop drawing.

The image:

I might move the bend in the shaft support strut up a few pixels so it looks more like a continuous angle than a sharp bend. The radar domes need some clean up work (Black pixels all around the outside, the 'panel' lines should be one color, the shading needs to be lightest forward, ect.), but the drawing is getting to that stage, and is looking good.
