Here's a minesweeper I created for my AU from a drawing off www.german-navy.de.

With shading and colorization it could be brought up to shipbucket standards. It's roughly in the right scale.

This must be the heaviest armed minesweeper I know. 3 4" or 5"-guns, maybe twins? Two quad aa (2cm ?), at least 18 single light aa (2cm, too?), 6 waterbomb-throwers. Radar-guidance. At least 1200 tons. A nice subhunter with someone having good connections to surplus-aa. But a minesweeper? No. A minesweeper is a small craft with nearly no draft, it does not need much arms, it just picks up mines and/or makes them useless.
Remove some aa-guns, make it shipbucketish correct and call it frigate.

@ All. Sorry for the senseless posting, dated Dec.12.2011. It was my fault and a big finger trouble.
@ emperor_andreas.
Your proposal of a large minesweeper is very interesting and would represent a so called "Minesweeper Fleet (MSF)", following the definition of NATO for naval vessels. Based on experiences on small German minesweepers during the sixtees of the last century I would like to propose the following modifications, which would enhance the operational capabilities of such a ship tremendously:
+ Move the aft gun one deck higher, the stability of the ship will not be weakon.
+ Remove all light AAA-weapons on the quarter deck and replace them by quadruple AAA-weapons beside and a little forward of the new aft
gun position. The anti-aircraft defence capability will be the same.
The reason for these modifications is the urgent need for a large working space when operating mine countermeasure (MCM) equipment. The following equipment has to be installed on this quarter deck for the MCM-operations, starting directly aft the gun behind the funnel, but a deck lower:
+ A large whinch with 1-2 reels for the hoisting or hauling the thick wires for the neutralization of magnetic influence ground mines.
+ A second winch, a little bit smaller, with 3-4 reels for handling the cutting or towing cales for for the neutralization of acoustic influence
mines or cutting anchored contact mines.
+ Besides both hand rails the floating boddies (swimmers) and the kites as well as the noise making devices, sometimes large and heavy
bodies, are stationed.
+ At least 3-4 davits or cranes are installed to handle all the equipment.
That's the reason for the demand of a large free deck space.

I cannot present drawings due to the lack of experience with grapfic ADP and the missing appropriate hard- and software. Nevertheless I hope
the described facts will help to optimize the proposal.

I really like the lines of this vessel. But I agree with the previous posts in that it too heavily armed for a MineSweeper and needs to be in the correct Shipbucket format.

That is missing the point. Light AAA on a minesweeper is not primarily intended for defence against aircraft. They are for detonating contact mines.

More generally, for armament, one 3" gun, plus light AAA should do it. There is a bit too much AAA on the drawing. Five or six guns would be enough.
