As I said, you can get size information from the PDF I linked to in my post. Frame numbers are shown at the bottom of the cutaway; frames are 4ft apart.

Very interesting project BB1987. Early US missile ships is nor really my forte, but I believe the helicopter is wrong. A Sikorsky S-58 (HSS Seabat) is more likely or even the older Sikorsky S-55 (HO4S naval variant). The Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King was ordered by the US Navy only in September 1961.

BB, I'm sorry to say that this has heretofore escaped my attention, but the length on the Talos booster was wrong. It's one of the older parts, and the width was right (no, seriously, the missile is almost 30 inches in diameter) so I never bothered to check the length. The corrected length is shown here

thanks Timothy, i'll fix is asap, and anyway it would not be a problem as BB70 drawing will be revised in order to shift from the mark7 to mark 12 GMLS, this means that the Talos launcher will be replaced anyway; and thanks novice for the helo clarification.

really splendid Acelanceloet, thank you very much, it will be really useful, surely better than the ugly bunch of lines i had done myself to guess the missile placements

the double-ended terrier BB71 is basically complete

if there is nothing particulary wrong with this i'll go back to the talos armed BB70 to fix the launcher and superstructure issues.
