A very good effort Carthaginian, but some points as critique, which I hope you don't mind.
If someone doesn't tell you when it's wrong, you don't know how to fix it!

First your ship doesn't look British at all, apart from the armament that is.
Her appearance was more a function of her design than her nationality... though I thought I gave a passing fair effort at a scaled-up British 'frigate' superstructure forward. The British generally built their ships with a raised fo'c'sle and a one deck midbreak because they were intended to operate in the rough waters of the North Sea and the North Atlantic. This vessel, intended to operate in more hospitable waters (like those of the Caribbean and South Pacific), did not need the raised fo'c'sle so much; thus, I chose a flush-deck design to maximize hull strength.

Aside from the flush-deck aspect, where can I improve upon her 'Britishness?'

Second I believe that you are slightly over reaching with four octuple Pom-Poms, these guns are huge and heavy (even cruisers did not mount four octuple mountings, four quad yes), and the addition of the 12 pounders? it only serves to complicate the fire control issue, which brings us to the other problem and that is thee are no Pom-Pom directors.
Ok- Springsharp is not precisely the greatest program in history when it comes to estimating what fits or not. Springsharp was all I had to go on, so I used the thing that Springsharp said would fit. If there needs to be some adjustment, then that can be arranged. The octuple mount can be replaced by quads if necessary- I intended for the post-war refit to replace them with a twin Bofors anyway.

And if you would point me to the right director, I'd happily add it; I just thought that the mount was optically directed. :?

The 12-pounders were there are completely Mk1 Eyeball directed, and designed to provide something to be used for illumination without tying up one of the main guns. I know they are redundant and slightly confusing- but the idea was to cram in a few more treaty-compliant gun tubes, and those were the only options.

Also please note that the only DP 4.7" gun in RN service was the mounting on board the batleships HMS Nelson and HMS Rodney the carriers HMS Glorious and HMS Courageous, and the mine layer Adventure, and that mounting was considered too heavy for small ships (destroyers or escorts), the Adventure was nearly 7,000 tons standars BTW.
I understood that the gun/mount was a bit rare- didn't realize that it was THAT rare. My ship DOES have something that the destroyers don't- a lot of weight saved on engines. :D My vessel has a lot more structural strength left over due to not carrying the extremely heavy and powerful destroyer machinery. Thus, I thought that the heavier mountings might be suitable for the vessel. IF they aren't, what kind of weapon would you recommend to replace them? It would have to be dual purpose and large enough that four would be sufficient for defensive armament, but <6" and four tubes would have to be sufficient.

Also the aircraft you have put is the Fairey IIIF and not the Seafox .
Whoops- sorry. I intended for it to be the older Fariey IIIF, to make the 'second-line' nature of the ship more visible.
