Southwest Airlines is the world's largest low-cost carrier, based in Dallas, Texas. Based at Dallas Love Field (though additional flights operate out of Dallas-Fort Worth International), Southwest offers services to 130 destinations in 12 countries. The airline employs more than 60,000 and operates over 4,000 departures per day in peak travel season.

Soutwest Airlines is in a code-share program with Riograndense airline SARE. Throughout its entire history, Southwest Airlines has operated one class of aircraft, the Texavia Chaparral, as has partner SARE.
